چکیده

We investigate the time-dependent R\'{e}nyi entanglement entropy after a quantum quench starting from Mott-insulating and charge-density-wave states in one-dimensional free boson system. The second is found to be negative of logarithm permanent matrix consisting single-particle correlation functions. From this relation inequality, we obtain rigorous conditions for satisfying volume-law growth. also succeed calculating time evolution unprecedentedly large systems by brute-force computations permanent. discuss possible applications our findings real-time dynamics noninteracting bosonic systems.

Entanglement and thermodynamics after a quantum quench in integrable systems.

Entanglement and entropy are key concepts standing at the foundations of quantum and statistical mechanics. Recently, the study of quantum quenches revealed that these concepts are intricately intertwined. Although the unitary time evolution ensuing from a pure state maintains the system at zero entropy, local properties at long times are captured by a statistical ensemble with nonzero thermody...

Entropy of isolated quantum systems after a quench.

A diagonal entropy, which depends only on the diagonal elements of the system's density matrix in the energy representation, has been recently introduced as the proper definition of thermodynamic entropy in out-of-equilibrium quantum systems. We study this quantity after an interaction quench in lattice hard-core bosons and spinless fermions, and after a local chemical potential quench in a sys...

Evolution of entanglement after a local quench

We study free electrons on an infinite half-filled chain, starting in the ground state with a bond defect. We find a logarithmic increase of the entanglement entropy after the defect is removed, followed by a slow relaxation towards the value of the homogeneous chain. The coefficients depend continuously on the defect strength.

A Preferred Definition of Conditional Rényi Entropy

The Rényi entropy is a generalization of Shannon entropy to a one-parameter family of entropies. Tsallis entropy too is a generalization of Shannon entropy. The measure for Tsallis entropy is non-logarithmic. After the introduction of Shannon entropy , the conditional Shannon entropy was derived and its properties became known. Also, for Tsallis entropy, the conditional entropy was introduced a...

Minimal Rényi-Ingarden-Urbanik Entropy of Multipartite Quantum States

We study the entanglement of a pure state of a composite quantum system consisting of several subsystems with d levels each. It can be described by the Rényi–Ingarden–Urbanik entropy Sq of a decomposition of the state in a product basis, minimized over all local unitary transformations. In the case q = 0, this quantity becomes a function of the rank of the tensor representing the state, while i...
